June 24th

Yikes! I cant believe it is the end of June. Not much Team stuff to report. We are all finishing up our required clinics and retail appearances next month. A few of us will still be giving clinics though July and August, but I expect things to slow down as the triathlon race season winds down.

It was fun to see Bill active volunteering at the Boulder Sprint Distance Triathlon last weekend, June 17th, as well as a few polar teammates racing. We were so busy with friends and family and were unable to get a group photo. Most of the Team is racing Boulder Peak so that will be a good opprotunity to photo shoot.

Stay cool, my thermometer just hill 103 degrees!

March/April Clinic updates

Wendy completed her first training clinic with 14 indoor triathletes this past Sunday, experience on the Team last year helped.


John Lloyd has a training clinic scheduled for April 22. It would be great to have everyone there that is interested. It is the annual Belleview 5K promoting Team in Training and we expect 200 runners. As was mentioned in the meeting a tag team approach is recommended, and all are welcome. Let me know who is interested.

I am so glad to be part of Team Polar again for 2007. I learned so much in 2006 I feel more confident at my training clinics and look forward to the retail appearances now that the format/structure has changed. The Denver team has more participants with lots of personality and energy. Lets enjoy the year working together!
